Rava Kesari/ Kesari bath is my all time favorite sweet. This is a lil different from our usual kesari bath, as we use Course Rava for this preparation.This is very simple version and you can never go wrong if you follow this method. This preparation does not need lot of ghee in it, but trust me this tastes great as well.
Course Rawa/Sooji

Method -
- Take a pan add 4 tsp ghee, Once its hot add dry fruits and saute it well.
- Now add 1 cup Rawa and fry till you get nice aroma.
- Mean while boil 21/2 cups water, add food color to it.
- Once Rawa is done add hot water and stir it well, then add 1 cup sugar and mix it well.
- Add Elachi/ Cardamom pdr mix it well and switch off the flame once you get desired consistency. That is when all the water evaporates.

Useful kitchen tips of the day:
- Add cardamom peels to the tea canister, instead of throwing them away. It will lend a very subtle flavour of cardamom to every cup of tea you brew
